Collector's watches and jewelry since 1986
I started working in the luxury watch industry in 1986, just a few years ago...
I realize now that I was lucky enough to be employed at what was at the time the official Rolex dealer of my town, Casale Monferrato.
The six years I spent in that environment proved to be a solid and useful experience, upon which I built all that came after.
In 1992 I decided to be an entrepreneur and started the adventure of trading in pre-owned and collector's watches. For the first ten years my business was based in Piazza Rattazzi in Casale Monferrato, and that was a further “training ground” for me. The impact of the internet was still limited, and that specific market was targeted mainly at collectors and watch enthusiasts.
It wasn’t until years later that the market started to reach the size it presents today, when pre-owned watches show a higher overall turnover than new ones.
In 1999 I launched my first website.
We were counting daily visits on the fingers of one hand. In 2002 I had the opportunity of taking over an antique boutique downtown, which I had long dreamed of. It once was a prestigious shoe shop in the central Via Saffi, which had been there since the 1930s; still now, a major part of the furniture and of the exterior and interior structure of our boutique reflects the original setting.
In 2011 we joined the community of Chrono24. During the last 15 years we have witnessed the continued growth of the online side of our business, both in terms of visibility and trade. In addition to watches, in 2022 I started offering a selection of pre-owned jewellery. A similar and complementary market that shows steady growth and solid potential.
During all these years our focus has always been the strive for quality: quality in our products, our services, and our customer support.
A constant challenge indeed, but one that has frankly proved to be rewarding over time.
